Kitten Central is the only organization of its kind in our area that provides fostering and a complete medical protocol for orphaned neonatal kittens 28 days or younger. Our very intensive critical care can include medically administered lifesaving fluids, breathing/nebulizing treatments, glucose stabilization, abscess drainage/dressing, forced feedings and administering medications. Once kittens are accepted into the program, Kitten Central provides individualized care in highly trained foster homes and a complete age appropriate medical protocol. Kittens remain in the program until they have completed this medical protocol, have been tested for Leukemia, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and have received a medical adoption clearance exam from one of our licensed Veterinarian Partners. At that time, the kittens are returned to the sponsoring rescue with a complete medical history for a healthy adoption.
